Background: Viral hepatitis remains a major public health concern in Iraq, particularly in regions with limited healthcare infrastructure. Despite global progress in prevention and treatment, hepatitis continues to cause significant morbidity and mortality. To better understand its epidemiological profile, we conducted a regional study in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate.
